Your Trusted Mobile Notary Public in Denver, Colorado
Denver has grown faster than its geography forgives: the city proper is a consolidated city-county, but the metro sprawls across Arapahoe, Jefferson, and Adams County lines, and the airport sits 25 miles out Peña Boulevard. That's the market we built for. Notary On Demand stages Colorado-commissioned notaries in central Denver, out the I-25 corridor toward the Tech Center, and on the Aurora and Lakewood sides, so a power of attorney at UCHealth on the Anschutz campus, a refinance packet in Wash Park, or a 6 a.m. pre-flight signing near DIA all get the same answer: someone is already close. Colorado caps the notarization itself at $15 per document, we quote travel honestly on top, and we keep chains and an extra hour of margin in the plan from November through April.

What Denver Clients Say
Trusted by clients across Denver, Colorado
"Refinanced our Wash Park bungalow and the title company needed everything signed on a Sunday. The signing agent came to our kitchen table, knew every Colorado acknowledgment cold, and we funded Monday morning. Easy."
"My mother needed a medical power of attorney notarized at UCHealth on the Anschutz campus in Aurora. The notary handled visitor check-in, was gentle with her, and had it done in 20 minutes. Cannot recommend them enough."
"Our startup in LoDo needed a stack of contracts notarized before a funding deadline, and it was snowing hard. They still had someone at our office near Union Station within the hour. That's the whole review."
Why Choose Our Mobile Notary in Denver?
Here's why Denver residents and businesses keep calling Notary On Demand when they need a mobile notary.
Staged Across the Metro, Not Just Downtown
We dispatch from central Denver, the DTC corridor, and the Aurora and Lakewood sides, so you get whichever Colorado notary genuinely reaches you fastest, not one crawling up I-25 from the wrong end of the metro at 5 p.m.
Anschutz, Denver Health, and Saint Joe's Bedside Work
Our notaries handle patient-room signings at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health, Saint Joseph, Rose, and National Jewish week in, week out. Powers of attorney and medical durable POAs get done calmly, around nursing schedules.
The $15 Cap, Quoted Straight
Colorado's Secretary of State caps an in-person notarization at $15 per document. Your quote shows that capped fee and the travel charge as separate lines, exactly as Colorado's disclosure rule requires. No mystery numbers.
Colorado Will Signings Done Right
Colorado is unusual in allowing a will to be executed by notarized acknowledgment instead of two witnesses, but RON is barred for wills, and most attorneys want witnesses anyway. Tell us what your drafting attorney specified and we'll make sure the room is set up correctly.
Winter Dispatch That Actually Shows Up
Upslope snow, an icy Sixth Avenue, a spun-out semi on I-70: we plan around Front Range weather instead of canceling for it. You get an honest ETA that accounts for the roads, and a notary who arrives anyway.
Recording-Ready for the Webb Building
Denver deeds record with the Clerk and Recorder in the Wellington Webb Building on Colfax. We notarize real-property documents to the recording division's standards, and if your property sits in Arapahoe, Jefferson, or Adams County, we'll point the packet at the right clerk.

Trust & Verification — Denver, CO
We back every claim on this page with proof. Here's how each one is verified for the Denver mobile notary team.
How our notaries are vetted
Before a notary takes a single signing for us, we verify each of the items below. We track renewals so coverage never lapses mid-assignment.
- 01
State commission verification
We confirm every notary holds an active commission with their state's commissioning authority before they take a single signing.
- 02
Background check provider & cadence
All notaries are screened by an accredited background check provider at onboarding and re-screened periodically per NNA-aligned standards.
- 03
$1M E&O insurance
Every notarization is backed by $1,000,000 in errors & omissions insurance, well above the typical $25K–$100K minimums most notaries carry.
- 04
Surety bond per state
Each notary carries the surety bond their state requires (amounts vary — for example California requires $15,000) so the public has a financial remedy if a notarial duty is breached.
- 05
NNA certification
All notaries are NNA Certified — they have passed the National Notary Association's certification exam and follow its Code of Professional Responsibility.
- 06
Ongoing training
Notaries in our network complete annual continuing-education refreshers covering statute updates, document categories (POA, deeds, loan signings, apostilles), and identity-fraud red flags so practice keeps pace with current law.
- 07
Renewal cadence
Commissions, bonds, E&O, and background checks are tracked on a calendar so renewals never lapse mid-assignment.

Each headline trust claim we make on the site is paired with a link you can use to verify it independently.

Colorado Notary Law — What Denver Signers Should Know
Every notarization on this page is performed under C.R.S. §24-21-501 et seq.. Here's the short version of how Colorado notary law affects your appointment.
Fees in Colorado
Colorado caps the notary fee at $15 per document for an in-person notarization, with a separate $25 cap for electronic and remote notarizations (maximums set by Secretary of State rule under C.R.S. 24-21-529). A mobile notary may charge a separate, agreed-upon travel fee on top, and Colorado requires all charges to be disclosed before the act; we quote both numbers upfront.
Acceptable ID
- Colorado driver license or state-issued ID (current, or expired ≤1 year)
- U.S. passport or passport card (current, or expired ≤1 year)
- U.S. military ID or other government-issued photo ID with signature or photograph
- Foreign passport or government-issued ID meeting the same currency rule
- Verification on oath of a credible witness who knows the signer
Witness Rules
Colorado allows a credible witness to identify a signer who lacks usable ID: the witness swears an oath and must themselves be personally known to the notary or show qualifying ID. Worth knowing: Colorado is one of the few states where a will may be validly executed by notarized acknowledgment instead of two witnesses (C.R.S. 15-11-502), though most estate attorneys still want witnesses too. We coordinate either way before the appointment.
Remote Online Notarization (RON)
permittedColorado made Remote Online Notarization permanent effective December 31, 2020 (SB 20-096, C.R.S. 24-21-514.5). Denver signers can use a Colorado-commissioned remote notary for most documents, but Colorado excludes wills and codicils from RON, so estate signings stay in person.
Read our online notary guideWhat a Colorado Notary Cannot Do
- •Colorado notaries cannot certify copies of birth, death, or marriage certificates — certified copies come from Colorado Vital Records or the county.
- •Notaries cannot give legal advice, prepare immigration documents, or advertise as a 'notario público'.
- •Wills and codicils cannot be notarized remotely in Colorado — RON is off the table for estate documents, which must be signed in person.
Informational only — not legal advice. For your situation, consult a licensed Colorado attorney.
Source for fee, ID, witness, RON, and exclusion rules: Colorado Secretary of State / official statute (C.R.S. §24-21-501 et seq.).
Where Your Document Goes After Notarization
For deeds and other real-property documents signed in Denver, notarization is step one — recording is step two. Here's where that happens.
Denver Office of the Clerk and Recorder — Recording Division
201 W Colfax Ave, Dept 101, Denver, CO 80202
Because Denver is a consolidated city-county, deeds, deeds of trust, and other real-property documents for Denver addresses record with the city's own Clerk and Recorder in the Wellington Webb Building on West Colfax. Metro properties across the county line (Aurora on the Arapahoe or Adams side, Lakewood in Jefferson County) record with those counties' clerks instead, and we make sure your packet is aimed at the right one before anyone signs.
