Leadership
Chelsea Rivera
Chelsea Rivera founded Notary On Demand in 2020 and is a commissioned notary public with more than a decade of hands-on signing experience. She built the company to bring 24/7 mobile notarization to people who cannot get to a bank or a UPS Store during business hours, and her work has been recognized by the National Notary Association. Today she leads the company as Founder and serves as its industry educator, writing the site's notary guides and setting the standards every notary in the network is held to.

We confirm every notary holds an active commission with their state's commissioning authority before they take a single signing.

All notaries are screened by an accredited background check provider at onboarding and re-screened periodically per NNA-aligned standards.

Every notarization is backed by $1,000,000 in errors & omissions insurance, well above the typical $25K–$100K minimums most notaries carry.

Surety bond per state
Each notary carries the surety bond their state requires (amounts vary — for example California requires $15,000) so the public has a financial remedy if a notarial duty is breached.

All notaries are NNA Certified — they have passed the National Notary Association's certification exam and follow its Code of Professional Responsibility.

Notary On Demand founded
Chelsea Rivera, a commissioned California notary public, founded Notary On Demand to bring 24/7 mobile notarization to people who cannot get to a bank or a UPS Store during business hours.
- 2021
Featured by the National Notary Association
The NNA's Notary Bulletin published a feature on Chelsea's mobile notary practice, recognizing her work in the field.
Online notary service launched
Added remote online notarization (RON) for clients in states where RON is permitted, in addition to in-person mobile signings.
